The refurbishment of Ronald Mc Donald House is nearly complete, with a Builders Breakfast being held recently on site to showcase the work done to date.
Many of the people who donated goods and services, and worked on the Project attended the breakfast, including Rotarians from Williamstown Rotary Club.
A hearty breakfast was provided by volunteers and workers from Ronald McDonald House, and enjoyed by everyone who attended.
The morning was an opportunity for people to showcase and share their own contribution to the Project, and meet other people involved.
Some of the current residents of the House, including children being treated for cancer, also came for breakfast.
A Channel 9 news crew and reporter were in attendance, and a report on the Project was shown on the news that evening, providing valuable media coverage for the project.
It is expected that the work will be completed in the next few weeks, and an official launch will be held at the end of July, which will include a celebrity chef, Wilbur Wilde and Joe Camilleri.
Everyone involved is very excited about the completion of the Project after all this time – not least the children who can’t wait to get into their new back yard !
